10 Foods that are High in Protein
Why should we consume a lot of protein every day and why is the macronutrient so famous among all athletes? Why are all bodybuilders obsessed with protein intake?
We need protein to build and repair muscles
To prevent fat storage
By force and be healthier
A protein deficiency leads to muscle atrophy and is bad for the function of our bodies. Protein is very important for all people in the world, men and women, adults and children. Not only is it good for bodybuilders and athletes but for people who have training in the gym, street training and any other sport it is recommended to consume much more protein than people who do not train any sport.
Now that we know why protein is so important macronutrients for our body and our muscles will make the list of foods that is the highest in protein and they have to eat to build lean muscles and be stronger:
Chicken and turkey breasts
I'll start with the meat because the meat is higher in protein calories. Lean chicken and turkey meat contain about 30 grams in 100 grams of meat. You can eat about 150 grams for a meal and consume about 45 grams of protein for a meal. Very easy, right?
Beef and lean beef
As said, meat is higher in protein and the side of Turkey and chicken meat. Meat is also very high and even higher in protein calories than chicken breasts. Beef contains 36 grams of protein in 100 grams. It contains more fat than chicken and turkey, so there is only lean meat or beef that is lower in fat. I am not very afraid, however, there is no dying if you eat around 100 grams of beef. Red meat is not dangerous, those are just myths. Men eat more red meat and fats to raise testosterone levels.
